Kathleen has been a Legal Advocate with the BC Human Rights Clinic since 2008. Kathleen graduated with a law degree from Dalhousie University Law School. Between 2014 and 2016, Kathleen accepted a contract to represent Canada at hearings of the Independent Assessment Process set up to address and compensate claims of physical and sexual abuse at Indian Residential Schools across Canada. Kathleen's previous experience includes approximately five years working overseas on projects dealing with human rights, advocacy and the rule of law.

Kathleen represents and advises clients on matters relating to the BC Human Rights Code with a focus on resolving complaints in the early stages of the process.
