Indo-Canadian Veterinarians get Apology

This week, a group of Indo-Canadian veterinarians, were vindicated and received a full apology and redress for suffering racial discrimination at the hands of their professional governing body, the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia. This case is a troubling reminder of the damage discrimination can cause to individuals and within our communities, if left unchecked.

At CLAS our goal is to advance dignity, equality and justice in society. This case illustrates our commitment to this goal. We proudly teamed with outside co-counsel, Clea Parfitt, and together poured years of hard effort into this case. Ultimately we achieved justice for our clients.
