Carolyn joined the CLAS Board in 2012. She is currently a lawyer with the Law Society of BC. Early in Carolyn's career, she practiced family law in private practice for 10 years. It was through this experience that Carolyn's keen interest for social justice was formed. She often represented clients who would have benefitted from systemic changes to our legal system, but she invariably found these people did not have the resources to work within the existing system or to create changes to the law. This experience drew Carolyn to CLAS with the hope of pushing for social justice to make the legal system work for everyone.
In Carolyn's spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, running and golfing. She is also an avid reader.
